My first experience with Pure Scandanavia was when I saw their advertisement for Lapland Christmas adventure on Facebook in early 2023.

I was in Brisbane picking up a new car to drive back to Townsville and thought I would make an appointment with Claudia in her Maroochydore office on my way through.

As soon as I mentioned my drive, Claudia immediately offered to meet me at a location on the Bruce Highway, rather than me adding to my already long drive home.

This type of Customer Service definitely influenced my decision to book through Pure Scandanavia.

Claudia not only organised a wonderful, personalised experience in Finland, she also provided advice on my family's travel prior to reaching Helsinki and recommended locations, hotels, transport and timeframes, all of which perfectly suited our needs and made our arrival and departure at each location a lot less stressful. The transportation that Claudia recommended between Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallin and Helsinki made for a much broader experience for us.

The accommodation, location and activities included in Pure Scandinavia's tour in Lapland were all fantastic and suited our needs. The local knowledge Claudia had from living in Finland, together with the personal touches from her family made the experience a lot more authentic.

With any holiday there were a couple of hiccups along the way, however after a phone call to Claudia everything was sorted without a fuss.

I totally recommend Pure Scandanavia for booking your Scandinavian adventure.

Very disappointing trip with Claudia and her team for Christmas 2024 in Lapland.

We found the tour to be chaotic and often disorganised. Her staff which included her daughter had no idea of timings and what was happening.

We understand the weather plays an important part in the activities but the rescheduling of activities often meant having to miss out out on other activities unless we complained.

Claudia was extremely rude to us when speaking if we didn't agree with her.

The itinerary did not fully explain that some activities you could chose to do would preclude you from doing others.

The whole Santa's Village was a debacle and if you didn't do it on the day you arrived you didn't get to do it again at all and
yet that was a main draw card of the trip. We arrived after a bus ride and weren't told the details of where we were and what we could feasibly do in the time frame we were here.

One of the activities the brochure said we could do was baking cookies with the elves. No mention of this on arrival at Santa's Village but come to find out we had to pay extra for this if we found the location.

The location of where we stayed at the ski resort also was difficult to navigate and left people struggling to find activities to do or even meals at decent venues and times.

In hindsight doing it ourselves would have been a better idea.

This was suppose to be a highlight of our many months away. A white Christmas in the most magical place which sadly didn't live up to our expectations.

We found it unsafe at times with the overloading of vehicles particularly when going in a snow tractor/cat to the top of the Fells for a farewell dinner.

However there were some highlights ie dog sledding, reindeer sledding that we will treasure those memories. However we made those memories happen not Claudia.

If anyone had an issue Claudia didn't want to know and was nasty to them.

Talking to people that were there and not on this tour they arranged the perfect holiday for them cheaper and their highlights were better than Pure Scandinavia.

I wouldn't recommend them and would tell people to book things yourself or another travel agent.
The sad thing is that it could have been so much better especially as Claudia and her family come from there and should have the best contacts.

Unforgettable Lapland and Tallinn Experience with Pure Scandinavia.

From the first enquiry, we received timely, professional, and courteous service that helped take the stress out of the planning and led to a magical holiday.

Their local knowledge and itinerary recommendations added to the experience and introduced us to things we would not have discovered by ourselves.

Our accommodation was perfect with a level of comfort that matched the breath-taking views and within walking distance of everything.

Despite being Christmas, the busiest time of year, our transfers and pre-booked activities (Reindeer, Huskey, Snow Mobile Safaris) ran on time, went off smoothly and ticked every box.

Ending our trip with two nights in Tallinn's historical old town centre, including New Year's Eve, was another memorable Christmas experience we would never have thought of.

This was a bucket list trip that surpassed our expectations and will live long in our memories.

Claudia organised our 3 week adventure over Christmas and we could not have been happier. The trip she organised was simply magical! Ever detail was well thought through and full of once of a lifetime experiences. The Lapland area in Finland – particularly at Christmas time was definitely a highlight from visiting Santa on Christmas eve, visiting a reindeer & huskie farms and snowmobiling.
